I just unearthed a bunch of sketches I did on my old Samsung Galaxy Note II phone, using its built-in stylus, that I owned between 2013 and 2016. I’ll be uploading all the good ones on here in the upcoming months.
First up, Action Cat and Adventure Bug from Art Baltazar and Franco’s Aw Yeah! Comics series — Art and Franco are maybe best known for their Tiny Titans comic, which re-imagines all the Teen Titans characters as elementary school students, with all the villains acting as the bullies or teachers. But Aw Yeah! Comics was a fun, all-ages title that I bought through their Kickstarter. Collections of the comic are pretty easy to find on Amazon, so if you’ve got a kiddo that you want to get started reading comics, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
Of course, now the Aw Yeah! brand is the title for their three comic store locations — In Skokie, Illinois; Muncie, Indiana; and Harrison, New York. But Action Cat and Adventure bug are still the store mascots. Check them out at AwYeahComics.com
