This one took so many revisions, and I’m still not sure that I’m 100% happy with it. But at a certain point, it just needs to be done, even if it isn’t “finished.”
Anyhow.
Gen 13 was a comic book series that began in 1994 and was cancelled in early 2001. Somewhere in 1998 I started reading it at issue 45, and was immediately hooked. Roxy Spaulding, AKA Freefall (named after her gravity-manipulation powers) quickly became my favorite character, especially after reading Adam Warren’s fantastic Magical Drama Queen Roxy spin-off mini-series.
Anyways, she’s great, so I wanted to draw her.
