One of the things about having been a Transformers fan for so long is that I end up running into the same characters over and over again. I’ve already talked about the toy that became Megatron, Gun Robo P-38, when I posted my custom repaint of the adorable Robot Heroes Megatron.
But, in short, the original mold for Megatron started as part of Takara’s Micro Change line. Gun Robo was available in black and grey and chrome.
I don’t really have much to say about this guy that I didn’t already say about the Chrome Commander Megatron ReAction figure, except, hey! It’s the black version of that toy! He was initially released by Super7 on Black Friday, 2020, along with Stepper, Soundblaster, and a fourth black repaint we’ll take a look at eventually.
