This is from either 2010 or 2011, when I didn’t have enough money to buy Christmas presents for all of my friends. I ended up making people one-of-a-kind, 4×6″ sketches like this one, and put them all in frames from the dollar store. This was the rough draft to one that I gave to a friend where our relationship had just sort of evolved into keeping up every few months via text message, as our schedules never quite lined up.
Anyways, this is over a decade old, and the final version ended up going to this friend, but I still think it’s a pretty funny concept and was worth sharing.
