The idea of someone meeting a version of themself from a different point in history causing an explosion was taken from an episode of Taz-Mania. As much as I like the idea of characters teaming up with different versions of themselves, it CAN be pretty complicated to deal with. This explanation shows that even though we now have versions of the Hawk & Croc cast from different points in their lives, they won’t ever interact with themselves.
Look, at the time we made this, people were still confused about how there could be a Star Wars Episode I and II when they’d already made three other movies.
