Ah, self-deprecating humor about not having enough time to draw new panels all the time. A webcomic staple. We all do it, and we all think we’re so clever for breaking the fourth wall in the exact same way.
That’s not a dig at any other webcomic creators, because Hawk & Croc is just as guilty as anybody else.
