Sometimes, there’s just not a lot to say about a toy, y’know?
It’s Bumblebee, but he’s covered in gold paint for some reason? I’m pretty sure this guy came out around the same time as the first Fallen Leader Optimus Prime and Chrome Commander Megatron as Target-exclusive repaints, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what he’s supposed to be.
The only thing I can think of is maybe it’s a reference to the scene from The Return of Optimus Prime Part 2, where Bumblebee is rebuilt as Goldbug. Although, originally he got a whole new toy for that, not just a new coat of paint. So I dunno.
Unless you’re a completionist or just like shiny toys, you can 100% skip out on this one.
But it IS very shiny. And there’s foiling on the yellow gold parts of the blister card. So that’s neat.
