State of the Website 2022

Back in June of 2020, I changed PsychoAndy.com from a combination portfolio-site and blog into just a straight blog. I figured that rather than post a bunch of art all at once and just leave it there for site visitors to look at, I’d give them a little bit of background and hints of inspiration behind each project.

Well that was nearly two years ago, and OVER 600 posts ago.

I’ve posted literally HUNDREDS of pieces of art on here in the last two years, from old embarassing childhood drawings, to rough sketch ideas, to Inktober pieces, to full-color fan art, things I’ve sold as prints, toy repaints, more about Hawk & Croc than anybody wanted to know, and even stuff by some of my friends! There’s a smattering of art appreciation, too!

But here’s the thing: Over the last two years, I’ve posted most of my work that I’m comfortable sharing.

I still have a little over two months’ worth of half-written draft posts — Mostly repainted TMNT and Transformers toys that I haven’t gotten around to posting — That I’d like to share. And when those are done, that will bring us to a full two years of what I set out to do with this blog back in the early days of the pandemic.

So that’s what you can expect for Monday through Friday in April and May of 2022. And after that? I dunno, we’ll have to wait and see.
