Like Tuesday’s post, this was also drawn around 2005-2006, on 11×17 comic paper. Comic covers were all about making the characters stand there looking intimidating in the early 2000s, so here was my attempt at that with two of the Hawk & Croc lead characters.
I like this better than the one I posted on Tuesday, and I think with some cleaning up, it could make a decent image. Although, in these poses, there needs to be a third thing in the image for balance. Two characters just standing in a blank void is awkward to look at.
A friend of mine in college inked this drawing of Hawk on tracing paper, and I did a few differnet color treatments. I’m not sure where they ended up, but when and if I find them, I’ll be sure to post them here on PsychoAndy.com
