Kick Sean's Pathetic Ass!

Croc: ::looks around at all the fighters:: Wow, there sure are a lot of teams here competing.
Hawk: Yeah, there are....hey! There's Cammy! ::goes off to talk to her::
Croc: Cammy? Where? ::gets tapped on the shoulder:: huh? ::turns around to see who's behind him::
Alli: Hey, Croc! ::smiles::
Croc: Alli! Great to see you! Are you competing too?
Alli: Yep. I'm here with my father.
Croc: Oh? Where is he? ::looks around::
Alli: Right beside me, silly!
Croc: ::looks beside her:: Oh! Hello, Mr. Grey.
Komodo: ::standing with his arms crossed, silent::
Alli: Dad, this is the man I'm engaged to.
Komodo: ...You're engaged?
Alli: Yeah....didn't Mom tell you?
Komodo: ....No.
Alli: ......Oh. Well, this is my fiancee, Croc.
Komodo: ::glares at Croc:: You're engaged to my daughter?
Croc: *gulp* .....uh.....yes sir.
Komodo: ::clenches his fists:: You haven't taken Alli's virginity from her, have you?
Alli: Dad!!!
Croc: ::gets nervous:: .......Well, it's been great meeting you. See ya! ::walks away::

Elsewhere, in the arena, Hawk catches up with Cammy.

Hawk: Hey, baby!
Cammy: 'Allo, luv. How are you?
Hawk: I'm doing well, thanks. You?
Cammy: Well, I'm excited about the tournament. This is going to be big!
Hawk: So, you're competing too, eh? Me and Croc just barely managed to sign up.
Cammy: That's great! I'm competing with Vega here.
Hawk: Vega, eh?
Cammy: Yep! We're the Beautiful Blonde Badasses!
Vega: ::walks up:: Hmm....I don't believe I've seen you in a fighting tournament before.
Hawk: The name's Biff J. Rockenheimen, but most people call me Hawk.
Vega: Fresh blood.....excellent. ::licks lips::
Cammy: Vega, stop being morbid!
Vega: ....sorry.
Cammy: Anyway, good luck in the tournament!
Hawk: You too. See ya!
Cammy: Bye!

Hawk walks away from his girlfriend, and meets back up with Croc, just as the announcer starts talking.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first day of the Mark of the Millennium tournament!

The fighters cheer.

Announcer: In just a few moments, we will begin the qualifying rounds for the tournament. At the end of the day, there will be just 16 teams left, who will compete in front of a live audience for one million dollars!
Hawk 'n' Croc: Woo!
Announcer: And so, let the tournament begin! In this corner.....
Hawk: Hey, this match doesn't have anybody we really care about seeing. Why don't we go over and see the list of fights?
Croc: Sounds good to me.

Hawk 'n' Croc walk over to the list of fights, and start searching for their names.

Croc: Man, where are we?
Hawk: Beats me. Oh look, Cammy's gonna fight Leona and Heidern!
Croc: Jeez. Hope they do well.
Hawk: Oh, and here's Alli and her dad.
Croc: They're fighting Kasumi Todo and Hinako? HAH! They are SO dead.
Hawk: Oh yeah? Well, Leona and Heidern are....so deader!
Croc: Oh yeah?
Hawk: Yeah!
Croc: Fine then.
Hawk: Fine!
Croc: Oh wait, here we are. We fight pretty late.
Hawk: Who're we fighting?
Croc: ....Sean. And Shingo.
Hawk: Woo! We're gonna win!
Croc: Easiest battle of our lives, I bet.
Hawk: Shyeah, really.
Announcer: And for our next fight, Blanka and Eagle are going up against Dudley and Balrog!
Hawk: Why don't we go watch them?
Croc: Sounds good to me.

And so, they watch their good friend Jimmy and his partner Eagle fight against the boxing team of Dudley and Balrog.

Dudley: ::repeatedly jabs::
Eagle: ::repeatedly stabs with his tonfas::
Dudley: My good man, we can't keep this up forever. What say we end this?
Eagle: I couldn't agree more. ::whacks Dudley over the head::
Dudley: Ow! ::falls down unconscious::

Announcer: And Blanka and Eagle win!

Blanka: Jolly good show.
Eagle: Thank you.

A few more fights pass, until they get to the Alli and Komodo vs Hinako and Kasumi fight.

Hinako: ::charges Komodo:: Heeyaa!!
Komodo: Hmph. ::smacks Hinako in the head with a palm thrust::
Hinako: Unh! ::passes out::
Announcer: Alli and Komodo go to the next round!

Cammy and Vega fight Leona and Heidern

Leona: Hm! ::takes off her earring, and throws it at Cammy::
Cammy: Yah! ::dodges it before it explodes:: SPIN DRIVE SMASHER! ::smacks Leona in the face, and she passes out::
Announcer: Cammy and Vega advance!

Dan and Joe vs K' and Maxima

K': Take this! ::tosses out his Trigger fireball, and kicks it at Dan::
Dan: ::rolls under the fireball, and taunts:: RETSHOU!! ::pokes K' in the eyes::
K': Ow! I can't see!
Dan: Saikyo-ryu Ougi! KORYUREKKA! ::hits K' on the chin::
K': Gnuuh!! ::passes out::
Announcer: Dan and Joe advance!
Dan: Yoyushi! ::thumbs-up::

Announcer: And now, for the final match before we advance to the next round, newcomers Hawk 'n' Croc are fighting Sean Matsuda and Shingo Yabuki!
Hawk: C'mon, let's go.
Croc: Alright! ::they get into the ring::
Hawk: Who will go first?
Croc: I'll let you have the priveledge of destroying Sean.
Hawk: Thanks, buddy.

Croc and Shingo get out of the ring.

Sean: Prepare to see how strong I am!
Hawk: Sure, whatever.
Announcer: Round 1.....FIGHT!
Sean: TORNADE! ::spins at Hawk::
Hawk: Hyaah! ::ducks under the spinning kick:: SPOON! ::leaps up and knee-kicks Sean's head off::
Sean: Owwie!! ::head lands at Shingo's feet::
Shingo: Eeek!! ::leaps like a little girl::
Announcer: Hawk wins!
Hawk: Suck that, biyatch!!

Shingo steps into the ring.

Announcer: Round 2....FIGHT!
Shingo: ::flips through his notebook:: What move should I do...
Hawk: BURN KNUCKLE! ::leaps at Shingo::
Shingo: Hm, this looks like a good one....::looks up just as Hawk's flaming fist hits him in the face:: Oww! ::passes out::
Announcer: KO! Hawk 'n' Croc advance to the next round!
Croc: Woo! Nice work, Hawk!
Hawk: Thanks!

And so, the first round of fighting is over. There are 128 teams left, and the challenges will only get greater from here on out. Will our heroes be able to make it further in the tournament? Find out next episode!
