Mwaa! Of the Millennium: Episode 2

Last time, on "Hawk 'n' Croc: Mwaa! of the Millennium", Hawk 'n' Croc found out about an upcoming fighting tournament where there's a grand prize of one million dollars. Eager to compete, they start training for the big tournament... ::the little tune that plays on Dragon Ball when the name of the episode is shown plays::

Predatation Registration

Back at the Saikyo Dojo...

Hawk: ...So, 256 different teams of two will be competing there?
Dan: Yep.
Croc: And the winning team gets 1 million dollars?
Dan: Yep.
Hawk: And the title of World's Strongest?
Dan: Yep.
Hawk 'n' Croc: COOL!!
Dan: Yep.
Hawk: Please stop that.
Dan: Sorry.
Croc: We should train hard for the tournament! Maybe we'll get into the finals.
Dan: Don't get your hopes up, kids. Remember, Joe and I are competing as well.
Croc: ...Oh yeah.
Hawk: Well, we can still try our best....So, how much time do we have to train, before the tournament starts?
Dan: Two hours.
Hawk: Well....that's not very much time at all. C'mon, Croc, let's go sign up. ::pulls out his Pocket Rocket:: Hop on!
Croc: Alright! ::gets on::
Hawk: Here we go! ::the Pocket Rocket blasts off::
Dan: *sigh* Such impatience....Waitaminute, the tournament starts in two hours?! WAIT!!! ::runs after them::

A few minutes later, they arrive at the Garcia Stadium, where the tournament is going to take place.

Croc: ::gets off the Pocket Rocket:: We're just in time!
Hawk: Yeah...let's just hope we're not too late to sign up!

They run up to the booth to sign up.

Hawk: Hi, we'd like to compete in the tournament.
Employee in Booth: ::in a full-body cast:: Sorry, but we ran out of positions for teams.
Hawk: Craptastic!

Nearby, one of the teams is talking with each other.

Mr. Big: Hehe, we'll win this tournament for sure!
Mr. Karate: I hope so.
Dan: ::running towards them:: Hey guys!
Mr. Karate: *groan* Not him...
Dan: I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm competing too! So we'll get to spend the entire tournament together!

Mr. Karate and Mr. Big look at each other, then scream and run away.

Dan: ...Was it something I said?

Mr. Karate and Mr. Big run past the booth person.

Employee in Booth: *gulp* N...not you again!
Mr. Karate: Take us off the list! We decided not to compete!
Employee: ....Oh! Well boys, looks like you can compete after all!
Hawk: Woo!
Croc: Alright!
Employee: Now, just sign here...
Hawk: ::signs his name::
Croc: ::signs his name::
Mr. Karate: ....Hey! I remember you!
Employee: Y...you do?
Mr. Karate: Yeah! You were the guy who charged us high prices for the Joe vs Sagat fight! HAOH SHO KOH KEN!!
Employee: Not again!! AIIIEEE!!!!

Mr. Karate's fireball completely blows up the registration booth.

Hawk 'n' Croc: .....
Croc: Well, that was interesting.
Hawk: ...Yeah. Let's just.....go in.
Croc: ...Yeah.
