Welcome to 2021. Let’s chat.
Which is to say, I’m going to type this and you’re hopefully gonna read it, because that’s how text works.
While I love that I’ve been able to say that I update daily on here, and I’m proud of how consistent I’ve been in the last six months, let’s be honest: It’s a LOT of content to have to post stuff 7 days a week. So I’m going to pull back slightly.
But not much! What I plan to do is use the weekends to write up and pre-schedule five posts that will go up at 12:01 AM (Arizona time), Monday thru Friday. And then, if something cool comes up in the middle of the week (such as a new toy or whatever that I get in the mail), I’ll add that, too. But weekends will prooobably not have new posts. At least for the time being.
I’m hoping that this will give some more focus in what gets posted, rather than scramble to post something just to have something posted for the day because I’m about to go to bed and just realized that I forgot. I dunno, maybe I’ll start to do more regular features such as Friendly Fridays, maybe bring back Monday Musings, etc.? Or maybe I’ll choose do themed weeks, such as 5 days of TMNT posts or whatever.
What this means for you, is that you don’t necessarily need to come on EVERY SINGLE DAY to look at/read everything without falling behind. You can come on just during the week, or maybe just on Saturday mornings and read the last week’s posts.
It’ll still be a potpourri of Psycho Andy art and, well, other strangeness that I’m interested in, but hopefully each week will have a bit more intent, and a more consistent schedule.
But I don’t have any plans to STOP posting stuff any time soon. So here’s to a great 2021!
