I don’t have a date for this one, but I’m pretty sure that I drew it after Carol had become Captain Marvel. 2015 or 2016, I want to say.
Anyhow, despite the fact that I like Carol’s new codename and having actual pants is far more practical, there is definitely something to be said for how simple and iconic the black leotard with a yellow lightning bolt is. It’s a cool look, and I hope someone can someday design a version of it that involves fewer wedgies.
