I’ve always preferred Shredder (and the Foot Clan in general) in the red and brown color scheme from the First Publishing color graphic novels (the first time the TMNT appeared in color!). So when the 2012 Ninja Turtles toys started coming out, it was a new opportunity to have some fun. So I repainted the first Shredder, and then sold it on eBay. And the same thing with this second version: got one, painted it up, and sold it on eBay.
But I enjoyed the second Shredder figure so much, I bought another one, painted it up, and kept it. and that’s the one photographed above.
